Saarang, the annual event of IIT Madras presents for the first time ever, Shaan as the headlining act for it’s upcoming edition of Popular Night.
Saarang grand finale Popular Night, with an audience of close to 8,000 has been the stage for the best performers of Bollywood and Indian cinema such as Sonu Nigam, ShankarEhsanLoy, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal Shekhar and many more.
In January, 2017 the familiar chords of favourites such as Main Hoon Don, Where’s The Party Tonight and soulful numbers like Chand Sifarish and Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh will enchant and excite thousands at the Open Air Theatre at the IIT campus in Chennai when Bollywood playback singer Shaan takes the stage.
Saarang is the annual cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, accredited with a heritage stretching from the late 70’s. It is one of the largest student-run festivals of its kind in the country. The five-day festival is scheduled from 4th to 8th January 2017.
