Every September, since 2011, a sundry mix of music enthusiasts have been thronging the remote valley of Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh along with the Apatani tribesmen to produce an extended weekend that showcases the best of independent music in India. Ziro Festival of Music, is, undoubtedly one of the most sought after outdoor music festivals in India.
Every year the festival is held at Ziro, a town in Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh of North East India in the month of September. From Tetseo Sisters to Rewben Mashangva, Thermal & a Quarter to Boomerang, Dualist Inquiry to Nicholson, 2015 festival witnessed 35 acts by national and international bands and artists.
