Sound Awake are back with their second edition of FreeWheel Rollin’, a gig with thematic leanings towards the lighter side of music and which according to the organizers is an attempt to bring the fans of classic rock, alternative rock, blues and funk together under one roof thus providing a platform to resurrect the counterculture and post-rock movement of the 60’s and 80’s-early 90’s.

The event will take place on October 5 at The Big Pitcher, close to Leela Palace on Old Airport Road, 4:00 pm onwards. Art work and customized items will be sold by a host of art vendors, the details of which will be announced later. Details and developments surrounding the gig will be posted on the event page.

Sound-Awake is a capsule with Fellow Artist Management, Downtown Gig Production and Booking. Sound-Awake is setting its foot forward as the fuel for the Artists in the Country.

Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, is also known as 'Rock Capital of India'.
