Bacardi NH7 Weekender, Shillong

The first leg of Bacardi NH7 Weekender, 2015 kicked off at District Sports Association Sports Complex in Bhoirymbong, Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya on October 23, 2015.

Thousands of music lovers from the State Capital and surrounding cities thronged the venue to witness rock bands and also get a glimpse of other events organised during the two-day festival which concluded on October 24, 2015.

On the first day of the festival, a diverse lineup of both Indian and international artistes enthralled the audience. Right from iconic artistes like The Wailers, who have performed all over the world, to Parikrama mesmerising the audience with their fusion tunes.

Popular home-grown band Imphal Talkies and Shaa'ir and Func brought thousands to their feet to dance, sway, and take in the enriching experience.

One of the biggest attractions of the event on the concluding day was metal legends, Megadeth. The band has a large fan following in the State.

Along with Megadeth, Indian favourites Lou Majaw and Friends, Kailasa, Bhayanak Maut, Scribe, Swarathma, Soulmate, Undying Inc, Nucleya and others also performed at the event.
