Voodoo Child, the classic rock band from Guwahati will be performing live at the MLTR (Michael Learns To Rock) pre-promo event on December 5, 2015 to be held at Terra Mayaa in Guwahati. The gig is also conducted to promote 'Metropolis' - the urban winter festival, to be held in Guwahati in January, 2016.

Voodoo Child was formed in 2002 and the present members consist of Rittique Phukan on vocals, Jim Ankan Deka on guitar and keyboard, Rajib Hazarika on lead guitar, Bobo Bardoloi on bass and Dibya Baruah on drums. The band is considered as one of the best bands of the Northeast region of India in the Rock N' Roll genre.

Danish pop rock band Michael Learns to Rock (also known as MLTR) will be touring Guwahati on 13th December and Dimapur on 15th December, as part of their upcoming 2015 India Tour dates.

Michael Learns to Rock has already toured India twice. Their live album titled “The Live Musical Adventures of Michael Learns to Rock-I Walk This Road Alone” featured 14 live audio recordings mostly from their September 2005 concert at Shillong. Formed in 1988, the band has recorded eight studio albums and sold over 11 million records worldwide.
