WHAT? CEOs Sing for Genesis Foundation Kids
WHEN? 11th June, 2016
WHERE? ITC Grand Central, Mumbai

Genesis Foundation (Genesis Foundation) is back with the 13th edition of CEO's Sing for Genesis Foundation Kids on June 11, 2016, at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai. This year’s edition will witness some of the renowned personalities from India Inc. performing and humming their favorite songs for a noble cause. The event will help raise funds to facilitate the medical treatment of underprivileged children suffering from critical illnesses in the areas of Heart, Cancer & Thalassemia.

Each year, this event gives corporate leaders a chance to take time out from their hectic schedules to step out of the boardroom and on to the stage and share their talent in music. This edition will be co-hosted by singer, radio host, Mihir Joshi and actor Tisca Chopra, who will set the tone for the performing CEO's. This year we have an exciting line-up of 17 CEO's who are going to put their best foot forward, indulging their passion to sing as they support the cause of raising funds for the treatment of the children in need.

Speaking on the occasion, Prema Sagar, Founder Trustee, Genesis Foundation, said, "We are so grateful for the CEOs who every year take time out to not only participate in our fund-raisers, but showcase their talent."

Over the years, ‘CEOs Sing for Genesis Foundation Kids’ has progressively become an institution in fund-raising initiatives to Give Life A Chance. In keeping with the Foundation’s core philosophy of building a participatory culture of giving, rather than chequebook philanthropy, musically-inclined CEOs give their time to the cause even as they find an outlet for their talent and their passion.

Genesis Foundation facilitates medical treatment for critically ill under-privileged children in the areas of Heart, Cancer & Thalassemia. Support in the said critical illnesses, varies from specific medical intervention, recovery and recuperation, to extended treatments like surgeries, chemotherapy and follow-up medicines post surgeries. We Give Life a Chance.

So far, they have supported medical treatment of over 900 critically ill children. The children supported by the Foundation belong to families with an income of less than Rs. 10,000 per month and the parents are unable to afford treatment of these children suffering from serious life-threatening ailments.

100% of funds raised are used towards treatment of critically ill children as all overhead costs are borne by the trustees.
