After successful editions in Delhi, this August, ‘Songs & Dances of North East’ comes to Mumbai to showcase the best of North East India. With music, dance, arts and ethnic delicacies. This festival is set to offer the denizens of the city, a treasure trove of the North East way of life.

Get enthralled by traditional dance performances such as Laiharabo, Cham, Tripuri, Bodo, and Garo etc., and sway to the music of contemporary artists like Lou Majaw, Guru Rewben, Omak Komut Collective, The Vinyl Records among others. To give you a peak into the rich folk traditions, there are celebrated artists like Dolly Das, Mangka, Sofiyum and many more. There will also be stalls displaying the best of Northeast handicrafts, textiles and food according to state and tribe.

This one-day celebration at the CIDCO Exhibition and Convention Hall in Vashi, Navi Mumbai will be graced by Hon’ble Kiren Rijiju (Union Minister of State for Home Affairs), Hon'ble Pema Khandu (Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh) and Mr. Karma Leki (Director of Arunachal Pradesh Tourism).
