Goa Rhythm & Blues 2016 will showcase the performances of 10 artists in different genres.

After the extravagant success of Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival, Genesis Foundation is all set to come up with their second edition of Goa Rhythm & Blues Music Festival 2016 bringing together musical lovers under one roof who believe in their cause of ‘Give Life a chance’ for critically ill under-privilege children.

Genesis Foundation is taking this year’s festival to the serene beaches of Goa by not only celebrating the cause but also helping the sick children with the funds raised at the festival.

After achieving major success and attention in its first edition, the two-day long music festival, Goa Rhythm & Blues Festival 2016, will bring some well-known bands, artists and musicians together in Goa to perform for the benefit of critically ill under-privileged children, suffering from cardiac disorders, cancer, physical deformity and Thalassemia.

Genesis Foundation’s music festivals have caught the attention of music lovers and bands alike and their first edition event—the Goa Rhythm & Blues Festival 2015, has been a total sell out in all its four editions! Goa Rhythm & Blues Festival 2016 takes the tradition ahead, combining the fun and excitement of a place like Goa, the lure of music, and the joy and satisfaction of ‘giving’ for a good cause.

The line-up features 10 musicians & bands, who promise to enthrall the music lovers with a mixed bag of music genres—

Prema Sagar, Founding Trustee of Genesis Foundation said, “While we have some incredible talent taking the stage, this event is much more than just another music festival. It is about a chance of life to 15 under-privileged, critically ill children. It warms our hearts to see our sponsors, supporters, musicians and attendees come together and pitch in for the cause.”

In order to raise awareness and resources to facilitate medical assistance to GF Kids, Genesis Foundation has created unusual and unique participative fundraising events involving music, art and food. Some of these events are Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival, CEOs Cook for GF Kids, Music for Life events, among others. Genesis Foundation is also the beneficiary of CEO’s Got Talent, produced by FremantleMedia.

Gaurav Choudhury | ChaiTunes Gaurav Choudhury is a guitarist and a versatile singer. He has been playing the guitar for many years and composed songs in English and Assamese.
