INAUGURAL ELECTRONIC MUSIC AWARDS SET FOR SEPTEMBER 21 FROM DTLA WITH TWITTER GLOBAL LIVE STREAM

The Electronic Music Awards will take place on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from DTLA with Twitter global live stream.

The Electronic Music Awards will take place on Thursday, September 21, 2017, live from the Downtown Arts District in Los Angeles. Spanning across 11 awards, the EM Awards will celebrate the leading underground and commercial artists, creatives, executives, and visionaries shaping one of music and popular culture’s most rapidly expanding genres. The Awards Show will be broadcast live, globally, on Twitter commencing at 7:47 pm PST.

Electronic Dance Music has evolved over the past half a century from an underground subculture into a $7.4 billion industry, birthing some of the music’s most popular stars. The genre’s explosion has seen electronic music dominate the live and festival market, soundtrack Hollywood’s biggest movies and TV shows and influence almost all aspects of popular culture around the globe.

The Electronic Music Awards Executive Producers include 3-time GRAMMY nominated producer/DJ Paul Oakenfold and dynamic creative entertainment company Hunt & Crest. The Awards are produced by leading live events production company Live L!ve Media, with brand partnerships curated by entertainment marketing firm UG Strategies. The awards will be voted on by a body comprised of the leading advisors and executives within the electronic community.

Nominations, additional presenters, performers and partners will be announced in the coming weeks. The live stream will be available for free to logged-in and logged out users on Twitter and connected devices globally. Fans will be able to access the live stream at theemawards.twitter.com and via the awards.

Now fans, who already turn to Twitter to discuss the latest in electronic music, will be able to watch the live video of the inaugural EMA’s and the related conversation all on the same platform.

Live L!ve Media previously produced Destination Unknown: Imagine Dragons concert broadcast live to Time Square and rebroadcast on Heart, MTV’s Wonderland, Tesla’s Model 3 launch event live-stream hosted by Tesla founder Elon Musk. The company is led by Aaron Cooke and Jesse J. Leed. They have become leading producers and creative development executives of live variety television shows, live events, and live-streams.
