Dark Circle Factory v/s Madfingers-
A project by Karan Joseph and Lindsay D'Mello, who met at That Studio, to jam and play, in order to get some music down; and ended up recording a few tracks, along with live jam videos. DCF (Dark Circle Factory) aka Lindsay says “There are many ways of writing and composing music. There is no wrong or right way, as long as it comes naturally”.

DCF
DCF or Dark Circle Factory is the brainchild of drummer and music producer Lindsay D'Mello. Apart from performing, the advent of technology and the need to write more music independently brought computers into focus. The mixture of computers, samples, software and live recordings at home and out, is what gave birth to the Dark Circle Factory.

The music is open to the listeners’ perception - think what you want. Its musical influences though, come from styles like Funk, Hip Hop, Drum n Bass, Rock and Pop. Urban music is what it really is. Inspired by life travel and music.

About The Storytellers’ Bar-
The Promenade, a sea-facing hotel by Hidesign, is a proud beacon of modern Pondicherry. It houses The Storytellers’ Bar (STB). With its charming design, deliciously local food and eclectic programming, STB is the not-to-be-missed-destination in the South for music, entertainment and the Arts.

The venue celebrates the city's rich past, exciting present and bold future. The main feature of the bar is the Wall of Stories, where journals celebrating the spirit of Pondicherry have been framed; and tell a compelling story of the history of this beautiful town. The food and drink menus too are local and artisanal, featuring the freshest local and organic produce. STB is creating a community of like-minded individuals - artists and thinkers - who can be brought together to form unique associations and vibrant properties; and create new and lasting stories.

The space has been co-created by Dilip Kapur, President, Hidesign; Simran Mulchandani, co-founder Mach One Associates and Blue Frog; Ayaz Basrai, co-founder, Busride Design Studio and Kapil Thirwani of Munro Acoustics.
