Jim Ankan Deka is an award winning musician from Guwahati, Assam. He is the first Assamese to open a music institute and a production house in Bangalore. He has received multiple awards for his multilingual song Aawaz - Speak Up Against Sexual Violence. He is the member of Eastern Fare, an acoustic rock band and Veenar, a fusion band based out of Bengaluru. He is also a photographer and documentary filmmaker.
