Barun Das has been in the music scenario for over a decade. He was initially trained in traditional Assamese musical instruments. He performed in numerous concerts with folk artists of Assam. In 2012, he devoted his time in learning the western drums and western percussions. He has been performing with famous Assamese singer Priyanka Bharali as a drummer and percussionist. Barun has been associated with ChaiTunes Project since 2019 with Assam Skies, a tri-continent collaborative project.
