Songdew celebrates World Music Day with #Thankyouforthemusic

21st June every year, the world comes together to celebrate the spirit of music and artists. This World Music Day, Songdew decided to not only bring music to underprivileged kids, but also empower them, with their initiative - #Thankyouforthemusic in collaboration with 100 Pipers which has been driving support for various social causes through its activation platform ‘Play for a cause’. In a month long initiative, Songdew will host a series of activities, inviting musicians to pay tribute to people who have helped shape their music and career – their teacher, a legendary star, or even a musician on street. They would have to record and upload a one minute dedication video (sing or play) with a thank you note to their inspiration using the hashtag, #Thankyouforthemusic.
